About the Role
Our partner company is seeking a skilled Freelance Senior Brand Designer to contribute to a rapidly expanding financial product brand. This role operates at the nexus of brand strategy, marketing, and growth, focusing on translating business objectives into impactful visual systems and creative assets. The environment is dynamic and demands high ownership, with design playing a crucial role in driving acquisition, conversion, and product narrative. You will be involved in campaigns, product launches, and daily marketing efforts, ensuring visual consistency, clarity, and impact. A key aspect of this position involves developing scalable design systems to enhance creative output across teams. This is a hands-on, high-impact freelance opportunity for a designer proficient in both creative execution and systems thinking.
Accountabilities
- Spearhead and advance brand design across growth, marketing, content, and product-related initiatives, maintaining a cohesive and high-quality visual identity across all platforms.
- Develop design assets for product launches, marketing campaigns, events, and evolving brand needs.
- Create performance-oriented marketing materials, including digital advertisements, social media graphics, email visuals, landing page designs, YouTube thumbnails, and event kits.
- Construct and maintain robust brand systems, encompassing Figma templates, reusable components, iconography, illustration styles, motion guidelines, and layout frameworks.
- Enhance and update brand guidelines and documentation to ensure consistency and operational efficiency for all teams.
- Provide support to Growth, Marketing, and Content teams by facilitating the reuse of design systems and expediting asset creation.
- Contribute to the conceptualization and creative direction of campaigns, going beyond mere brief execution.
- Align design choices with key business metrics such as acquisition and conversion rates.
- Leverage AI tools to facilitate prototyping, iteration, and accelerate creative production processes.
- Manage project timelines, feedback loops, and deliverables to ensure the delivery of high-quality work under demanding deadlines.
Requirements
- Possess at least 4 years of experience in brand design, preferably within fast-paced startups or reputable design agencies.
- Showcase a strong portfolio that highlights visual excellence, brand system development, and multi-channel design execution.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the interplay between brand, marketing, messaging, and copywriting.
- Exhibit a proven track record of linking creative decisions to tangible business results, including acquisition and conversion improvements.
- Proven ability to establish and manage scalable design systems and reusable creative assets.
- Be comfortable working autonomously from provided briefs and proactively suggesting creative strategies.
- Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the rationale behind design choices.
- Maintain a collaborative spirit, working effectively with cross-functional teams in marketing, growth, product, and content.
- Have practical experience utilizing AI tools to optimize creative workflows and boost production efficiency.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, a refined visual aesthetic, and the capacity to ensure system-wide consistency.
- Fluency in English is essential; availability within a CET +/- 2 hours time zone is preferred.
