Job description

Role summary

This position serves as a central quality point of contact for the operations team. The focus is on checking that products and processes meet the site’s quality requirements and the Manufacturing Control Programme, while also helping the business improve performance through structured inspections, issue analysis, and reporting.

What you will do

  • Work with Quality Digital Factory practices and use key performance metrics to strengthen process control and help lower NRFT and CPMO across the site.
  • Act as the main quality liaison for the operations function.
  • Carry out inspection checks on filling and assembly lines to confirm compliance with Manufacturing Control Programme requirements.
  • Perform checks in the shipping area to ensure the same quality and compliance standards are met.
  • Track and analyse issues in manufacturing to help identify the underlying root cause.
  • Record and communicate observations through Quality Wall / Leading Indicators systems so data is captured promptly and trends are accurate.
  • Share findings in WPOA meetings to support quick containment and resolution of quality issues.
  • Assist the Quality Inspector Team Lead and Quality Engineers with resolution activities and action plans related to NRFT and customer complaints.
  • Carry out all assigned Quality Inspector duties as needed.
  • Help assess gaps against the site’s Fix It Forever requirements and Manufacturing Control Plan, and contribute to action plans that close those gaps.
  • Prepare monthly metrics using leading indicators and site performance data, and help close open items tracked on the Quality Wall / Leading Indicators.
  • Support site validation activities.
  • Remain adaptable when priorities change.
  • Build and sustain productive working relationships with operators across all areas.

Requirements

  • BSc in Food Science, Chemistry, or a closely related equivalent qualification.
