About the Role
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking individuals with backgrounds in education and teaching to transition into a Special Agent role. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills to critical national security matters. As a Special Agent, you will investigate violent crimes, cyber threats, terrorism, and fraud, contributing directly to public safety. Responsibilities
- Plan and execute investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity threats, and public safety issues.
- Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet diverse investigative demands.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness to effectively perform law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
- Must be willing to undertake required travel.
- Must satisfy all FBI employment eligibility criteria.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university is required, with a preference for degrees in education or related fields.
- College transcripts must be submitted to verify all degrees.
- Resume must not exceed two pages and should detail relevant work experience with start and end dates.
- Veterans must submit DD 214; disabled veterans must submit DD 214, SF-15, and a VA letter dated 1991 or later.
