Role Overview
We are seeking skilled trade professionals to join as structured Trainers specializing in Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Civil, and Painting disciplines within our Learning & Development team. This position requires technical proficiency and the ability to effectively lead training sessions for frontline maintenance personnel, aiming for career progression in technical training and facilitation.
Training Environment
Training occurs exclusively inside a dedicated Operations Training Lab designed to simulate real campus systems across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, civil, and painting trades. The lab features graded fault-simulation tiers, allowing trainees to diagnose and repair issues under supervision before engaging with live campus infrastructure. Trainers conduct all teaching and assessments within this controlled space.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement detailed training programs for maintenance teams covering electrical, plumbing, carpentry, civil, and painting trades.
- Regularly revise training materials and lab fault scenarios to incorporate current safety protocols, materials, and company guidelines.
- Develop organized learning modules to impart essential skills, knowledge, and safety standards for effective campus maintenance.
- Lead practical hands-on sessions in the simulated lab environment, ensuring trainees meet skill requirements prior to live campus work.
- Conduct periodic refresher training to address common issues and enhance operational performance.
- Manage daily training schedules and oversee the upkeep of lab tools, equipment, and fault simulation setups.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified with ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, or Painting trades; B.Tech graduates with relevant practical trade experience are also welcome.
- Confident in presenting and instruction, with prior experience in on-the-job coaching, supervision, or demonstrations considered advantageous.
- Receptive to feedback and quick to implement improvements.
- Enjoys demystifying technical processes and simplifying fault diagnosis for learners.
- Possesses high energy and resilience, able to handle frequent, intensive training sessions across multiple locations.
