Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the financial impact of implementing new tariff structures across various customer segments.
• Assist the client in effectively positioning and communicating tariff modifications to enhance customer comprehension and acceptance.
• Assess the effects of alternative pricing strategies on the existing customer base.
• Formulate and refine tariff designs to accommodate emerging use cases and evolving customer requirements.
• Create and validate new pricing products, evaluating their impact through simulations or shadow billing.
• Ensure that new pricing methodologies and programs are financially viable before deployment.
• Develop tariff frameworks that promote efficient usage patterns and align with overarching system objectives.
• Support the setup and activation of billing systems to handle more sophisticated and adaptable pricing structures.
• Provide insights derived from data to guide the creation of new customer-centric pricing and program offerings.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Utility Rate Design, Regulatory Affairs, or Energy Economics.
• Expert knowledge of Dynamic Pricing and Demand Response (DR).
• A Master's degree in Economics, Energy Policy, or an MBA.

Language Requirements

• Fluency in English is essential.
• Proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
