About the company

Site Ware Direct has supported the mining, construction, and oil & gas sectors since 2004 by supplying workwear, PPE, barricading, and safety equipment. The business focuses on understanding each customer’s safety needs and aims to make procurement straightforward through competitive pricing, fast delivery, and strong customer service.

Role purpose

This position is responsible for carrying out a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving stock, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch.

Key duties

  • Pick, pack, and send out orders each day while meeting deadlines.
  • Accept incoming deliveries and verify the goods received.
  • Replenish shelf stock and manage stock rotation.
  • Make sure stock movements are handled in line with all required paperwork.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and safe.
  • Help review warehouse and product layouts to improve workflow.
  • Break down stock into smaller selling or handling units where required.
  • Carry out general warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Support inventory control to reduce missed sales caused by stock shortages.
  • Assist with stock counts and reconciliations as part of routine inventory checks.
  • Work with the team to keep product images, codes, and descriptions current.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to improve day-to-day operational efficiency.
  • Take on other duties when needed, as the business is a small team and flexibility is important.
  • Operate walk-behind forklift equipment.
  • Use an order picker and Wave equipment.
  • Complete local delivery runs during the week.

Skills, experience, and education

  • Strong organisational ability.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 20 kg.
  • Current full driver licence is essential.
  • Forklift licence would be an advantage.
