Job Overview
This position functions as a central coordinator for resource management within the Canadian Consulting & Analytics unit. The role involves overseeing staff allocation across consulting assignments, investments, and business development initiatives to ensure efficient project execution and elevated client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Leverage data and management systems to refine resource allocation processes.
- Select and assign personnel to billable projects, internal initiatives, and developmental efforts.
- Manage staff deployment to maximize productivity and align with growth plans.
- Keep resource assignments and capacity data current in dedicated systems.
- Prepare reports forecasting resource availability and highlight potential skill or role deficits or surpluses.
- Assist in organizing training and recruitment activities.
- Evaluate discrepancies between planned and actual time spent on projects and investments.
- Ensure accurate and compliant time tracking.
- Forecast capacity proactively factoring in pipeline and upcoming demands.
- Provide leadership with operational insights on usage trends, workload distribution, and improvement opportunities.
- Act as the main contact for resource management during personnel transitions like leaves or role changes.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with project managers and business unit leaders to support informed staffing decisions.
Requirements
- Prior experience in consulting environments or resource management is preferred.
- Proficiency in using resource management tools and data analysis for reporting.
- Capable of integrating diverse information sources effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Skillful in building business relationships and negotiating with stakeholders.
- Demonstrates resilience and determination.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and oral communication in English.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience interpreting resource forecasting data for operational decision-making.
- Ability to independently manage staffing changes and sustain project flow.
- Flexibility to operate on a hybrid work schedule based in McKinley Taguig.
- Availability to work night shifts.
- Willingness to commit to a 1-year employment contract.
