About the Internship

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior engineers to design and develop sensor prototypes for IoT devices.
• Apply design thinking principles to generate innovative sensor solutions.
• Perform research and data analytics to enhance sensor function and efficiency.
• Create circuitry designs and execute schematic analysis for sensor systems.
• Conduct circuit modeling and simulations to boost sensor performance.
• Use CAD tools to fabricate 3D models and employ 3D printing for prototype creation and validation.
• Develop Python scripts to facilitate sensor integration and enable data acquisition from IoT devices.
• Implement machine learning and deep learning algorithms on edge devices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of design, testing, and analytical procedures.

Candidate Eligibility

• Must be available for a full-time, in-office internship starting between 21st July 2026 and 25th August 2026.
• Commitment to a 4-month internship duration.
• Possess relevant skills and interests in sensor development and related technologies.
• Women aiming to start or resume their careers are encouraged to apply.
• Preference given to Computer Science Engineering students and freshers seeking job experience.
• Prior project experience is an advantage.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong work ethics and be prepared for substantial time dedication.

Additional Details

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is globally recognized for excellence in engineering education and research, attracting top-tier students and faculty renowned internationally.
Interns will receive a monthly stipend ranging from INR 5000 to 20000 and may benefit from flexible work hours, a casual dress code, certification, letter of recommendation, and a potential job offer post-internship. Upon successful conversion to a permanent role, salary expectations range between INR 300000 and 800000 annually.
