Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and positive individuals to join as Care Assistants at various locations including Limerick City, Doon, and Foynes. Both permanent and relief contracts are available, with day and night shift options. Selected candidates will be placed on panels to fill current and future vacancies of full- or part-time status.

Role and Responsibilities

Care Assistants hold key responsibilities in providing personal care—covering aspects such as meals, hygiene, and physical wellness—for individuals supported by Corlann. A significant part of the role involves assisting these individuals with their personal development plans and helping achieve their associated goals. Additionally, Care Assistants play a vital role in facilitating the community participation and integration of those they support.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in a relevant or appropriate area.
Possession of a full manual driving license valid for driving manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads.

Additional Information

The Care Assistant position aligns with a 13-point pay scale ranging from 834,881 to 848,434 annually (pro-rated).
