About the Role
Based in Dublin with a hybrid work setup requiring up to two days onsite, this position reports to the Claims Manager. It is offered by a reputable Irish insurance company known for its strong market presence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle motor insurance claims comprehensively, taking full ownership from initial claim intake through to resolution, including liability assessment and claim settlement within authorized limits.
- Act as the key contact for customers, brokers, and service providers, offering clear guidance and supportive communication throughout the claims process.
- Identify potential fraud risks and maintain meticulous and accurate claim records.
- Collaborate closely with the team to assist with workload management and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Coordinate with external partners such as loss adjusters and solicitors as required.
- Participate actively in training sessions, projects, and initiatives aimed at continuous process improvement.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in claims handling or general insurance, whether as a broker or insurer.
- Mandatory APA qualification with Personal & Commercial endorsement or CIP certification.
- Excellent organizational skills paired with strong communication capabilities.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
- A proactive, collaborative, and team-centered work approach.
