Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Groundworker to join a busy construction team working on a roadworks project located in Bridport, Dorset. This is a full-time position with shifts running Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of weekend hours. The assignment could extend up to one year.

Responsibilities

Executing block paving and slab laying tasks
Performing general finishing work on groundworks
Installing kerbs and edging
Conducting snagging duties to ensure quality standards
Working according to site drawings and specifications

Requirements

Proven prior experience in groundworks supported by references
Ownership of necessary tools
Ability to interpret and work from construction drawings
Valid CSCS card is mandatory
Able to undertake manual, physical labor
Possess own personal protective equipment (PPE), although high visibility vest, safety glasses, gloves, dust mask, and hard hat will be supplied by the employer

Salary range: £20 to £24 per hour
Location: Bridport, Dorset, United Kingdom
