Junior Design Engineer (Water Supply)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Design Engineer specializing in water supply systems to join our team in Mukhed, Maharashtra. This role involves hydraulic design and analysis of rural drinking water supply infrastructures, focusing on source-to-service delivery components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic analysis and design for rural drinking water supply networks.
• Create and evaluate hydraulic models covering transmission and distribution systems.
• Determine critical parameters such as design flow rates, pipe sizing, pumping needs, storage volume, and pressure zoning.
• Conduct surge effect analyses and suggest measures for surge protection.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, computations, and contractor submissions to confirm adherence to technical standards.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including structural, mechanical, electrical, and pipeline experts to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of water supply schemes for better reliability, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Engage in design reviews, technical assessments, and project planning procedures.
• Offer technical assistance during construction phases, system testing, commissioning, and verification of water supply performance.
• Compile detailed hydraulic design reports, technical documentation, and project notes.
