We seek dedicated and customer-driven individuals to join us as Operations Managers. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of salaried and hourly employees, fostering engagement and accountability to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and operational performance.

Operations Workflow

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and motivation to a diverse workforce comprising both salaried and hourly team members.
- Lead substantial projects impacting both site-level and regional operations.
- Develop and implement productivity strategies based on forecast analyses, workload balancing in coordination with fellow leaders.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality benchmarks, productivity targets, and delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with specialized support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to achieve organizational goals.
- Physically capable of lifting items up to 49 pounds and regularly performing tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
- Maintain standing and walking throughout shifts lasting up to 12 hours in environments with varying noise levels and exposure to weather conditions, particularly in delivery station areas.
- Frequent stair navigation in applicable sites.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience managing personnel and driving performance.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or alternatively a minimum of two years of direct experience at Amazon (full-time or blue badge employee).
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience exceeding one year in using performance metrics, process improvement methods, or lean management techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for the Operations Manager role in Wilmington, North Carolina, ranges from $91,000 to $136,500 annually, with total compensation including sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs).
