The company operates in a state-of-the-art SMIF cleanroom environment with full equipment automation and proven wafer manufacturing processes.

Role Overview

The position available is for an Engineer or Senior Engineer to join the Product Engineering Department. The team values innovation, passion, and talent, and the successful candidate will be actively involved in ensuring high-quality silicon production and yield improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure first-time silicon yields and establish baseline benchmarks (D0) for products.
• Identify and solve yield limitations related to product, testing, and fabrication processes as quickly as possible.
• Serve as the technical liaison with Business Lines and customers.
• Drive yield enhancement initiatives.
• Address product yield, quality, and reliability challenges effectively.
• Conduct pre-tapeout risk assessments and coordinate with Business Lines and fabrication teams to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with customers and mother fabs to resolve Design for Manufacturability (DfM) issues.
• Analyze product yield data to determine root causes of failures during wafer sort and final testing.
• Establish fault diagnostics capabilities aimed at yield improvements.
• Manage disposition decisions on low-yield products in coordination with business lines and customers.
• Perform electrical and physical failure analyses to locate issues precisely.
• Lead and coordinate efforts for yield improvement task forces.

Required Qualifications

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Physics.
• Between 2 to 8 years of experience in product or test engineering, failure analysis, or process integration.
• Experience in fabrication processes, yield engineering, or design is a plus.
• Open to fresh graduates as well.
• Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor device physics, fundamentals of electrical and electronics engineering, and wafer fabrication methods.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
