Overview
Prism BPO Private Limited is looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator with 3 to 4 years of practical experience in a BPO setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, upkeep, and support of the organization's IT systems including servers, networks, desktops, telephony setups, and end-user assistance.
Key Duties
- Oversee and administer Windows and Linux servers, workstations, and network infrastructure.
- Continuously monitor system performance to guarantee maximum system availability.
- Setup, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and related peripherals.
- Manage Active Directory services, user accounts, permission sets, and group policy enforcement.
- Configure and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Wi-Fi, VPNs, and internet connections.
- Deliver technical support to staff and address IT issues promptly within established SLAs.
- Manage data backup routines, disaster recovery plans, and security procedures.
- Liaise with vendors responsible for dialers, CRM platforms, and telephony systems to resolve technical problems.
- Ensure systems comply with antivirus, firewall, and endpoint protection standards.
- Review system logs and conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and documentation.
- Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding by managing system access rights.
- Enforce conformity with organizational IT policies and information security regulations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration.
- Experience managing networks, routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Proficient in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy management, and VPN configuration.
- Hands-on experience with desktop support and troubleshooting methods.
- Familiarity with BPO operational infrastructure including dialers, CRM software, and voice processing systems.
- Knowledge of backup solutions and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-resolution, and communication abilities.
