Core Maintenance Utilities Engineer

About the Role

Reliance Jio Infocomm Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Core Maintenance Engineer specializing in utility systems to join its team based in Mira - Vasai, Maharashtra. This position is a full-time, on-role opportunity focused on the upkeep and performance of utility equipment critical to network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage issuance of materials and oversee contracts related to the Core Maintenance Point (CMP).
• Continuously monitor utility equipment performance in line with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure maximum availability and uptime of utility equipment and network facilities.
• Conduct Level-2 troubleshooting and resolve technical issues associated with utility hardware.
• Work closely with the Core Maintenance team to address critical malfunctions promptly.
• Keep track of both corrective and preventative maintenance schedules and activities.
• Monitor utility-related alarms and guarantee their timely resolution.
• Analyze energy consumption patterns to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Maintain strict adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Fire (QHSEF) standards and policies.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication (ENTC), Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years and up to 10 years of relevant experience in utility equipment maintenance and management.
• Expertise in utility equipment operations and maintenance procedures.
• Strong skills in energy optimization and power management techniques.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance methods.
• Solid understanding of QHSEF policies and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities complemented by a technical orientation.
• Proven ability in stakeholder communication and collaboration.

Compensation

The role offers a competitive yearly compensation package ranging from ₹500,000 to ₹1,000,000.
