Lighting Panel Operator

Overview

This role involves complete responsibility for managing stage and auditorium lighting operations at corporate events hosted by Reliance Jio. The operator must deliver high-standard broadcast lighting to enhance live audience experience and ensure quality video recording across over 170 annual events.

Key Duties

• Plan and execute lighting schemes for large-scale events such as town halls, award ceremonies, and product launches.
• Program and manage lighting scenes and cue stacks for live event execution.
• Work closely with Camera Engineers to optimize camera exposure and video quality through lighting adjustments.
• Collaborate with Media Server Engineers to synchronize lighting cues with LED wall content.
• Maintain and service lighting equipment including fixtures, rigging systems, control consoles, and consumables.
• Design and deliver lighting presentations for talent showcases, recognition programs, and launches.

Required Expertise

• Light board operation skills proficient with ETC, Avolites, GrandMA, or comparable consoles.
• Sound understanding of stage and studio lighting fundamentals, including colour theory and protocols like DMX, ArtNet, and sACN.
• Ability to design and program lighting shows suited for awards, talent, and product launch events.
• Knowledge of broadcast lighting principles affecting camera exposure and broadcast video production quality.
• Familiarity with networking basics related to lighting systems, including DMX-over-IP and ArtNet networking technologies.

Experience and Eligibility

Applicants should have between 4 to 6 years' experience in stage or event lighting, preferably within corporate event or broadcast settings. Experience working with LED walls is beneficial.
