Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to improving the quality of life and community participation of individuals with complex support needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioural support assessments.
• Develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans of high quality.
• Implement evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
• Provide support services in various settings such as clinics, homes, communities, and schools.
• Work with children, adolescents, and adults facing complex behavioural challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with families, carers, support coordinators, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in achieving positive and meaningful outcomes for clients.

Candidate Profile

• Holds current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration at Proficient level or above.
• Prior experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or a similar role in behavioural support.
• Thorough knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks.
• Proven ability to conduct assessments and formulate Behaviour Support Plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship-building.
• Capable of working autonomously while actively contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintains a calm, patient, and solution-oriented demeanor.
• Demonstrates sincere passion for aiding people with disabilities and their families.
