Software Engineer

Position Summary

This contract role is for a Software Engineer working remotely, offering a weekly time commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours. The successful candidate will be instrumental in crafting and maintaining robust web solutions by leveraging modern front-end and back-end technologies, as well as cloud deployment expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and sustain resilient web applications using React alongside JavaScript.
• Create and enhance backend services implementing Python and Node.js technologies.
• Deploy, administer, and efficiently scale applications hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Work closely with colleagues across different functions to ensure delivery of superior-quality software products.
• Perform comprehensive code reviews and offer positive, actionable feedback to team members.
• Identify, debug, and resolve software issues in an efficient manner.

Requirements

• Demonstrate expert proficiency in React, Python, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Possess significant hands-on experience managing AWS services within distributed system environments.
• Exhibit outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on accuracy and clear expression.
• Maintain a proven record of successfully delivering scalable and maintainable software projects.
• Understand and apply software design principles and be adept at using version control tools such as Git.
