About the role
This position is focused on growing business in the Vijayawada territory by selling and expanding Data services such as internet bandwidth, MPLS and cloud, along with Voice (postpaid), Broadband and Fixed Line offerings. The role acts as the main contact for customers across all three business lines and is responsible for improving both Customer Market Share (CMS) and Revenue Market Share (RMS) in existing as well as new accounts.
What you will do
- Develop new business opportunities in the territory and drive growth across Data, Voice and Fixed Line segments.
- Serve as the single point of contact for customers on behalf of Airtel across the three lines of business.
- Expand revenue from assigned accounts and meet the targets set for each business line.
- Acquire new accounts through active hunting and relationship building.
- Increase business within current customers by cross-selling multiple products.
- Create and sustain a healthy sales funnel for all three lines of business with the right level of deal maturity.
- Monitor competitor moves and gather market intelligence to support business decisions.
- Negotiate, close contracts and orders, and work to maximize revenue.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of solutions according to client requirements.
- Support resolution of customer concerns through direct action or by engaging the relevant internal support teams.
Reporting line
The role reports to the Team Leader or Zonal Sales Manager.
Education and experience
A graduate degree is required, with preference for B.Tech or B.E. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant B2B field sales experience.
