Annotation Quality Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Annotation Quality Specialist to contribute to training AI models. This contract, part-time position focuses on reviewing and validating data used within large language model projects. Work is fully remote, with a commitment of 20 to 40 hours weekly and a required 4-hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time. The engagement is expected to last approximately 3 to 4 weeks, with immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and categorize data points accurately to support AI model training.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and consistency across annotation tasks.
• Detect annotation errors, unusual cases, and differences in data.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and offer clear, constructive feedback.
• Adhere strictly to project instructions while achieving productivity goals.
• Collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment to drive AI development forward.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must reside within the United States.
• Excellent English proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehension.
• High attention to detail combined with strong analytical skills.
• Experience in data annotation, content assessment, quality control, or related areas.
• Knowledge of AI or machine learning projects is advantageous.
• Basic familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and impartial decision-making skills.
