Job Overview

The Assistant Store Manager at Spencer's plays a key role in supporting the Store Manager to maximize sales and profitability by overseeing staff development, expense control, shrinkage, merchandising, and inventory management. Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranges between $14.75 and $15.00 based on candidate qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage expenses and reduce inventory shrinkage by adhering to defined policies.
• Oversee merchandising and inventory controls to maintain product standards and availability.

Requirements and Physical Demands

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Previous retail experience and/or management background is mandatory.
• Physically able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift items up to 50 pounds for over 8 hours during a workday.
