Job Overview

We are looking to hire a well-organized and effective Storekeeper for our Dubai location. This role demands managing warehouse operations, ensuring the accuracy of inventory tracking, and maintaining a neat, safe storage environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and properly store incoming shipments in assigned storage zones
• Accurately manage inventory records utilizing computerized systems
• Pick, pack, and prepare shipments for dispatch
• Conduct periodic stock audits and address any discrepancies found
• Arrange the warehouse layout to maximize space and accessibility
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively
• Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and corporate policies
• Work collaboratively with various departments to fulfill inventory needs and solve problems
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization throughout the storage areas
• Compile and deliver routine reports on inventory status, damages, and inconsistencies

Requirements

• Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent credential
• Two to three years of experience in a warehouse or storekeeping capacity
• Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word
• Strong organizational capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Competent record-keeping and fundamental numeracy skills
• Physically capable of performing duties involving lifting, standing, and extended walking
• Familiarity with warehouse functioning, procedures, and recommended practices
• Awareness of safety standards applicable to warehouse settings
• Ability to operate efficiently in a dynamic and quick-paced environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Team-oriented approach with effective collaboration skills

Additional Information

Candidates with knowledge of construction materials and demonstrated expertise in inventory management and Excel will be preferred.
