Job Overview

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Murfreesboro (TCAT) is seeking a full-time evening faculty member to lead its Aesthetics program. This role demands a minimum 37.5-hour workweek, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 1:30 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Reporting to the Vice President of Instruction and Accreditation, the instructor is responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and managing the Aesthetics curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

The instructor will offer tailored theoretical and practical lessons to both adult learners and high school students to ensure they are prepared for careers in aesthetics. Responsibilities include tracking student progress through grading and evaluations, maintaining detailed records using the college's student management system, preparing reports promptly, aiding in recruiting new students, and facilitating graduate placement. Coordination with the day program instructor is essential to maintain curriculum consistency across sessions. Engagement with the business community, active management of an advisory committee, and collaboration with relevant external agencies are required. Additionally, overseeing students in cooperative education programs is part of the role.

Qualifications & Experience
