Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Barista to join our team at locations in Inorbit Mall and Waltair Road, Visakhapatnam. The successful candidate will be adept at preparing high-quality coffee beverages inspired by third-wave coffee principles and committed to delivering outstanding customer service in a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of coffee drinks that include single-origin pour-overs, cold brews, and artisan espresso beverages, ensuring impeccable quality and presentation.
• Engage customers with friendly, attentive service, understanding their preferences to provide tailored recommendations.
• Possess and communicate comprehensive knowledge about third-wave coffee, including bean origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods to educate customers and co-workers.
• Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, including routine cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Support inventory management by ordering, receiving, and stocking coffee beans and supplies, and alerting management to shortages.
• Maintain quality control by adhering to standard recipes, precise ingredient measurement, and consistent preparation practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a barista is preferred but not mandatory; a strong enthusiasm for coffee and eagerness to learn are vital.
• Excellent customer service abilities, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic arithmetic skills necessary for handling transactions and managing stock.
• Familiarity with third-wave coffee brewing techniques and concepts is a plus; however, willingness to learn is essential.
• Flexible availability to cover various shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
