Role Purpose
The Business Development Analyst will assist with development activities for designated projects across North America. The role encompasses daily operational support tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and detailed research, including hands-on fieldwork at project sites. Collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups and fostering a team-oriented environment are key to achieving project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for routine development operations.
- Participate in meetings, ensuring action items are tracked and addressed promptly.
- Conduct research to evaluate and support prospective project concepts.
- Recognize project challenges and areas for enhancement, proposing actionable improvements.
- Engage directly at project locations to support outreach and stakeholder relationship management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Between zero and three years of experience in strategic or leadership support roles such as consulting, operations, or executive assistance.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and proficiency in project management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build interpersonal relationships effectively.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing demands in fast-moving settings.
- High discretion and competence in handling sensitive information.
- Background or familiarity with the electricity sector.
- Knowledge in business strategy, financial analysis, and organizational development.
- Experience or exposure to consulting, operations management, or corporate strategy is advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
This position’s anticipated starting salary ranges from $80,000 to $108,000 annually, subject to factors including location, experience, certifications, and educational background. Besides base salary, employees are eligible for a structured bonus program and access to a robust suite of benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, disability coverage, life insurance, voluntary benefits, family care support, employee assistance, paid leave, holidays, and retirement savings plans with employer contributions. Employee referral bonuses are also provided.
