Overview of Unseen
Unseen is a company specialized in assessment technologies, candidate engagement, psychometric design, and recruitment support services aimed at providing employers with equitable, data-driven recruitment processes and insights. Serving around 250 employer clients and 15 to 20 strategic partners worldwide, including large global employers and talent service providers, the company has achieved approximately GBP 10 million in revenue. Unseen is now planning to significantly scale its business, targeting revenues between GBP 40 million and GBP 50 million in the near future through a mix of strategic acquisitions and organic growth.
Role Description
The Business Development Representative will be integral in expanding Unseen's market footprint by proactively generating new business opportunities and establishing a pipeline within both employer and partner networks. Working directly with the sales and commercial teams, the role involves identifying potential client organizations, initiating contact with decision-makers, and qualifying leads for the sales team.
Key Duties
- Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the sales team
- Develop and maintain prospect lists targeting crucial sectors and markets
- Conduct outbound campaigns using email, LinkedIn, and phone calls
- Research industry verticals and customer segments to gather relevant prospect data
- Collaborate closely with Employer Sales, Partner Sales, and Marketing teams
- Maintain steady pipeline generation to support revenue goals
- Record and track daily activities in the Pipedrive CRM system
- Monitor outreach efforts and measure meeting conversions
- Understand Unseen’s product offerings and effectively position them competitively
- Stay updated on industry trends, hiring challenges, and competitor strategies
- Assist in refining sales messaging and outreach based on feedback and market insights
- Support the execution of campaigns and follow up on inbound leads
- Help foster a collaborative and high-performing sales environment

Qualifications and Skills Required
- Strong enthusiasm for developing a career in B2B sales
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence in engaging with senior-level stakeholders
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to persist and stay proactive, especially in outbound outreach
- Fast learner comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in commercial, client-facing, or sales-related roles is beneficial but not mandatory
- Interest in technology, recruitment, or talent management solutions is a plus
