Client Relations Manager

Role Overview

Lease & LaBau, Inc., an established law firm based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, is seeking a Client Relations Manager to oversee and nurture key client accounts. This role demands a professional dedicated to ensuring seamless client service and fostering strong partnerships within the legal domain.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main coordinator for assigned client accounts, assisting Client Relationship Partners in delivering reliable and high-standard client service.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client stakeholders while facilitating effective communication between attorneys and business services teams.
• Manage client requests, supervise account activities, and proactively recognize opportunities for service enhancement or potential risks.
• Collaborate across departments to maintain accurate client and matter information and analyze trends in client experiences.
• Support billing processes, ensure compliance with outside counsel guidelines, track matters, and prepare budget reports.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of client-facing documents, including presentations, reports, pitches, and proposals.

Requirements

• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is strongly preferred, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least seven years of experience within a law firm or an in-house legal environment in a client-facing capacity; experience in corporate practice areas is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and capability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
