The Role

The Construction Site Supervisor leads daily on-site operations for commercial construction and renovation projects supporting Nimble’s robotic fulfillment centers. This role involves directing subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, monitoring progress, and managing quality and logistics to meet timeline and specification requirements. The supervisor serves as the main field authority, fostering seamless coordination and high-quality execution within challenging, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily tasks and personnel on construction sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams effectively.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, schedules, and quality standards.
• Interpret construction plans, drawings, and timelines accurately.
• Lead daily safety meetings enforcing OSHA and company requirements.
• Track project progression and address issues proactively.
• Handle material deliveries, equipment availability, and workforce allocation.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections per project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with project leads, engineers, facility teams, and clients.
• Maintain precise daily logs, status reports, and documentation.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and site logistics optimization.
• Identify and implement productivity improvements and delay minimization strategies.
• Support project commissioning, turnover, and closeout processes.
• Travel up to 25% to various project locations as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• At least two years in a leadership role managing field crews or acting as a foreman.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and building systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and a strong safety commitment.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in active construction settings.
• Preferred: Experience with warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center construction.
• Preferred: Experience with automation or robotics installation projects.
• OSHA 30 certification and First Aid/CPR certification are advantageous.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project.
• Mechanical, electrical, or industrial construction experience considered a plus.

Compensation

The starting annual salary range is approximately $80,000 to $105,000, subject to individual factors such as relevant skills and experience. Additionally, the role includes a generous equity component.
