Overview
We are collaborating with a rapidly expanding company in the highly regulated healthcare sector seeking its inaugural dedicated UK data analyst. This role offers a genuine greenfield opportunity as current data is dispersed across various systems, relying heavily on manual spreadsheet processes for reporting and analysis. The business is investing in creating a dependable data infrastructure that enhances visibility across customer journeys, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate data from diverse systems to form a coherent and dependable picture of operational performance.
- Develop and maintain data models and pipelines primarily using SQL, with chances to engage with Snowflake and dbt technologies.
- Create dashboards and reports that illuminate customer journeys, conversion funnels, and overall business performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate business questions into executable data solutions.
- Enhance data quality, standardization, and classification within the organization.
- Detect trends and insights to improve customer outcomes and operational effectiveness.
- Present analytical findings clearly to senior leadership and clinical experts.
- Define data structuring, governance, and usage protocols across the UK business unit.
- Establish scalable processes to support the organization's growth trajectory.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient hands-on SQL skills with experience working directly within the data layer.
- Experience in constructing or maintaining data pipelines instead of solely focusing on dashboards and visualizations.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or similar current data technologies is highly advantageous.
- Experience using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- One to three years of commercial experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
- A degree in a STEM discipline, Economics, or another analytically rigorous field.
- Ability to work autonomously and assume ownership without constant supervision.
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders professionally.
- A curious and business-oriented mindset interested in broader organizational challenges beyond reporting.
- Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments.
Why Join?
- Opportunity to build data foundations from scratch with minimal legacy constraints.
- Experience high ownership as the sole data specialist for the UK business, influencing significant business outcomes.
- Work with impactful data affecting customer experience, clinical service quality, and real-world results.
- Collaborate directly with UK leadership and experienced consultants.
- Potential career growth as you shape and eventually expand the UK data function.
- Engage with an innovative, fast-growing sector of regulated healthcare.
Additional Information
This role is ideal for ambitious early-career data analysts with solid technical foundations ready to take full ownership of a data capability within a fast-developing healthcare environment.
