About the Role
This position serves as the cornerstone of the data team, responsible for converting complex business questions into precise insights and a solid reporting infrastructure. The role involves strong collaboration with product managers, data engineers, and executive leadership to drive data-centric decisions across critical growth and operational projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and executive scorecards utilizing SQL and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
- Develop and execute complex, highly efficient SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets from cloud platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define essential KPIs, develop tracking strategies, and uphold data integrity throughout processes.
- Perform in-depth exploratory data analysis to uncover user behaviors, identify growth challenges, and pinpoint revenue opportunities.
- Construct and automate ETL pipelines leveraging Python and dbt to optimize data transformation and reporting operations.
- Effectively communicate technical results and insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear presentations and documentation.
Candidate Profile
- Between 3 to 6 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or analytics engineering within a technology-driven environment.
- Mastery of SQL and advanced proficiency in Python for data processing and statistical tasks.
- Practical experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, as well as data transformation tools like dbt.
- Proven track record of designing impactful dashboards and data architectures with BI platforms including Looker, Tableau, or Mode.
- Solid grounding in statistics, including experimental design and A/B testing approaches.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Additional advantages include familiarity with event-tracking systems like Segment or Amplitude and orchestration frameworks like Airflow.
