Role Overview
We seek a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in London. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence data-driven decision-making at scale for an iGaming CRM platform. Positioned at the crossroads of product development and commercial impact, you will set benchmarks for player engagement and construct the analytical structures powering our CRM system's insight layer. Collaborating directly with operators, you will turn raw data into actionable strategies to enhance player retention, lifetime value, and campaign results. The role demands both analytical expertise and the ability to guide what metrics matter and how to use them.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define key performance indicators, metrics, and analytic models supporting our CRM platform's reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to determine data capture methods, structure, and delivery to end users.
- Create and sustain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytical tools for direct operator use.
- Identify deficiencies in existing data coverage and lead projects to address them.
- Work hand-in-hand with operators to comprehend retention and engagement challenges and transform them into data-driven solutions.
- Develop scalable insight frameworks such as benchmarks, cohort analyses, and segment performance models applicable across multiple operators.
- Deliver regular insight packages detailing player behavior, campaign efficiency, and growth opportunities.
- Spot trends and patterns across operators to guide product development and best practices.
- Analyze campaign performance throughout its lifecycle including targeting, delivery, engagement, conversion, and retention effects.
- Define and continuously improve segmentation criteria, player scoring, and lifecycle stage classifications.
- Establish standards for A/B testing and assist teams in experiment design, execution, and interpretation.
- Build predictive models indicating churn, reactivation potential, and player value to support proactive campaign planning.
- Serve as the analytics authority in multi-disciplinary meetings with Product, Commercial, and Customer Success divisions.
- Effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including operator representatives.
- Contribute to strategic planning by highlighting data-supported opportunities and identifying gaps in capability.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years’ experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Proven hands-on experience within the iGaming CRM domain, ideally within operators or platform environments, with solid knowledge of player behavior, bonus systems, and retention marketing.
- Comprehensive understanding of CRM operations including campaign logic, segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL with the ability to build complex queries and analytical data models from the ground up.
- Experience handling large-scale behavioral and transactional datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to define metrics and frameworks beyond existing reporting structures.
- Skilled in creating dashboards and self-service reporting (tools like Looker, Tableau, Metabase, or equivalents).
- Comfortable engaging directly with external clients to translate business queries into actionable analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of telling coherent stories with data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of A/B testing procedures and experimental design.
- Experience with predictive modeling or collaborating with data scientists on machine learning applications such as churn prediction, lifetime value estimation, or propensity modeling.
- Familiarity with event-driven or streaming data architectures.
- Proficiency in Python or R for analytic scripting and automation tasks.
Employee Benefits
- Starting with 25 days of annual leave, increasing by 2 days each year up to a maximum of 35 days after five years.
- Hybrid working opportunity available after three months, allowing up to 50 remote workdays per year.
- Monthly allowance for meals.
- Gym membership allowance.
- Access to e-learning platforms such as Udemy for Business and LinkedIn Learning, plus an external training budget.
- Two designated "Free Fridays" annually, with a limit of one per quarter.
- Three sick leave days per year without a requirement for medical certification.
- Support for new parents including 52 weeks of paid maternity leave (21 weeks fully paid) and 4 weeks of paternity leave, with flexible full-time work-from-home options for up to 13 weeks post-birth.
