Delivery Project Director

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for an experienced Delivery Project Director to lead the execution of large-scale projects within their growth portfolio. This strategic position involves overseeing all phases of project delivery, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring outcomes meet Qiddiya's high standards for innovation, quality, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and ensure successful delivery of complex projects, adhering strictly to defined scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Handle stakeholder management effectively, including engagement with contractors, consultants, government bodies, and senior management.
• Create and execute project delivery frameworks, strategies, and risk mitigation methods to guarantee project success.
• Track project performance regularly and implement necessary corrective measures to mitigate issues related to schedule, cost, or quality.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, safety protocols, and corporate policies during all stages of the project.
• Deliver prompt and detailed project status updates and presentations to executive stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 12 years of progressive responsibility in project delivery with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity managing large and complex projects.
• Proven ability to complete projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Strong leadership acumen with a history of managing multidisciplinary teams successfully.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Possession of PMP certification or an equivalent credential is highly regarded.
• Experience working in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, is beneficial.
