About The Role

RevConnect, an initiative by the Northern Territory Government, aims to modernize the current tax revenue system used by the Territory Revenue Office. The eLearning Developer role involves creating up to twenty training modules focused on key functions and workflows within RevConnect. These modules will cater to both taxpayers and internal revenue staff. External training materials should be visually engaging, easy to understand, and user-friendly, while internal modules must feature interactivity with assessments and integrate seamlessly with the NT Government's Moodle-based training platform.

The successful contractor will also establish content management protocols for future updates, transfer relevant development expertise to the RevConnect change management delivery team, and work closely with the organisational change manager to ensure training aligns with the overall change management strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop up to twenty eLearning training videos and interactive modules for external taxpayers and internal Territory Revenue Office users.
• Create visually appealing and accessible eLearning content for external users that clearly presents key RevConnect functions and processes.
• Develop interactive internal modules that include practice activities and assessments compatible with the Moodle training system.
• Produce all required online training content for both external and internal users of RevConnect.
• Define standards and guidelines to support content management and future module updates.
• Transfer knowledge and skills regarding development, editing, and maintenance of online training materials to the RevConnect change management delivery team.
• Collaborate with the organisational change manager to synchronize learning design and delivery with the overall change management plan.
• Submit a comprehensive Work Plan within five days of contract start, outlining timeline, project tasks, potential obstacles, and suggested solutions.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience working with Articulate 360 or comparable eLearning authoring tools, along with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems, particularly Moodle, as well as proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and adherence to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
• Experience in establishing and managing online training, support, and help systems, including developing online help resources for end-users.
• Familiarity with user interaction design principles and responsive design methodologies.
• Ability to apply document configuration standards and maintain version control for training materials.
• Skilled in creating, updating, and maintaining training support documents and systematic version tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex information to diverse audiences, with meticulous attention to detail.
