ELV Project Manager

About the Role

Elusav Recruitment presents a remarkable opportunity for an ELV Project Manager to join one of the world's leading engineering contracting firms located in Frankfurt, Germany. This role involves managing and coordinating resources such as labor, materials, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution within the ELV and ICT systems domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Electrical Project Manager and support the delivery of assigned ELV and ICT systems components.
• Coordinate engineering and design activities by reviewing IFC/design drawings and specifications, raising and monitoring RFIs and technical queries, and supporting BIM coordination to develop construction and fabrication drawings as well as isometric diagrams.
• Contribute to safety and quality assurance by assisting in the preparation of RAMS, method statements, and permit-to-work packages.
• Synchronize engineering tasks with the overall project schedule, prepare material take-offs and Engineering Materials Reports, and track procurement and submittals to prevent delays.
• Supervise on-site contractors to ensure installation quality and compliance for ICT and AV infrastructure, BMS/DCOS systems, fire detection and alarm systems, fire radio link systems, physical security systems, controls containment, and cable management.
• Manage scope related to mission-critical ELV systems, including coordination and documentation of ICT, AV, BMS/DCOS, fire detection, alarm systems, and related infrastructure.
• Support testing and commissioning activities for ELV systems.
• Prepare weekly engineering progress and risk reports detailing work breakdown structure completion, delayed deliveries or design shortages, third-party constraints, and escalate unresolved issues to the Electrical Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance of ELV, ICT, and data center installations with IEC 60364 safety standards, structured cabling standards ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173, and installation rules IEC 14763‑2 and EN 50174, alongside TIA-568/569/607/942 standards and EN/IEC 61439 panel and rack requirements.
• Oversee fire alarm integration coordination following DIN 14675 standards, ensuring proper interaction with electrical work.
• Direct installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems in compliance with DIN 14675 and local regulatory authorities.

Experience and Qualifications

• An engineering qualification or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least five years of project management experience, preferably with mechanical and electrical contractors.
• Hands-on experience with ELV systems, including security and mechanical systems integration.
• Demonstrated capability in project coordination and management.
• Strong electrical knowledge and skills.
• Background in trades related to electrical or mechanical disciplines.
