Role Overview
This position involves comprehensive responsibilities across hardware design, embedded firmware development, IoT integration, CAD documentation, and manufacturing support for embedded systems projects.
Key Duties
- Create electronic circuits encompassing both analog and digital hardware.
- Design multilayer printed circuit boards utilizing standard industry software tools.
- Generate schematics, bills of materials, and detailed manufacturing files including Gerber and Pick & Place data.
- Select and optimize electronic components to balance reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop firmware primarily in C and Embedded C languages targeting microcontrollers such as STM32, PIC, AVR, ARM Cortex, and ESP32.
- Perform debugging and performance optimization on embedded software.
- Integrate various peripherals including sensors, encoders, displays, keypads, communication modules, and motor control interfaces.
- Develop IoT-enabled monitoring systems featuring communication protocols like Wi-Fi, GSM/4G, Ethernet, RS-485, CAN Bus, and Modbus.
- Implement remote diagnostic and predictive maintenance functionality.
- Create electrical wiring diagrams and layouts through AutoCAD Electrical.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, wiring schedules, and assembly drawings while maintaining revision-controlled records.
- Prototype, test, and troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues.
- Facilitate PCB fabrication, assembly processes, and collaborate with production teams to assure quality control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Embedded Systems.
- Master's degree (M.Tech) in Embedded Systems is advantageous but not essential.
