Estimator II

Job Description

In the role of Estimator II at Honeywell Technologies, you will support the formulation of project estimates, ensuring they are timely, precise, and competitive. Your involvement will directly influence the success and profitability of the company by providing assistance in cost assessment, bid strategy, and risk evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the estimation process across projects to maintain accuracy and punctuality
• Work collaboratively with various teams to collect project requirements and help develop cost approximations
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings to clarify scope and identify potential risks
• Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses
• Examine and confirm subcontractor and vendor quotations to ensure they are competitive and precise
• Provide assistance to senior estimators and estimating managers when needed
• Keep abreast of industry developments, market trends, and innovations related to estimation practices

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
