Executive - Land Acquisition

Overview

Cleangrid Energy is looking for a skilled and results-driven Executive specializing in land acquisition to support its renewable energy initiatives, specifically solar and wind energy projects, in Andhra Pradesh. The chosen candidate will be responsible for sourcing appropriate land, handling all related legal and administrative processes, and ensuring smooth coordination among landowners, vendors, local authorities, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess land parcels viable for solar and wind energy installations.
• Perform thorough land due diligence including validation of titles, ownership, and revenue documentation.
• Negotiate terms and finalize purchase or lease agreements with landholders and relevant parties.
• Manage vendors and local representatives engaged in acquisition activities to meet project needs.
• Prepare, scrutinize, and execute lease deeds, sale deeds, agreements, and other pertinent documents.
• Collaborate with government entities and local authorities to obtain necessary approvals, permissions, clearances, and NOCs.
• Maintain comprehensive and compliant records of land registrations and documentation in line with company policies.
• Generate timely status reports and MIS updates on daily, weekly, and monthly bases for management oversight.
• Keep senior management informed with consistent project and acquisition progress updates.
• Develop and sustain effective relationships with landowners, community members, vendors, and governmental bodies.
• Assure adherence to Andhra Pradesh land laws, regulations, and internal procedures throughout acquisition processes.
• Provide essential support to project teams during land acquisition stages and overall project execution.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in Law, Rural Management, Real Estate, Agriculture, or related disciplines.
• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience specifically in land acquisition for renewable energy projects (solar and/or wind).
• Deep understanding of Andhra Pradesh's land revenue systems, registration methods, statutory obligations, and related processes.
• Proficient in preparation of TSR (Transfer of Site Rights) and other associated land acquisition documentation and reports.
• Experience managing vendor coordination and working with survey agencies and local stakeholders.
• Strong skills in detailed reporting, presentations, and providing management-level updates.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Readiness to undertake frequent travel throughout Andhra Pradesh as required by project demands.

Language Requirements

• Fluency in Telugu, Hindi, and English is necessary.
