About the Role
Become part of a community-focused, locally operated store delivering health, beauty, and convenience services. This position places the customer experience at its core, overseeing the front store customer service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer service functions including cashier activities and merchandising within the store.
- Ensure cashier and merchandising staff adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
- Provide comprehensive training, ongoing guidance, and instruction to cashiers and merchandisers.
- Implement loss prevention policies rigorously, including daily management of cash office inventory, cashier tracking, and PC Optimum procedures.
- Maintain proper store image by ensuring employees comply with the Uniform Policy.
- Address customer inquiries regarding product locations, rainchecks, refunds, exchanges, and resolve issues following established protocols.
- Promote and encourage customer participation in the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Survey.
- Ensure shelves are tidy, organized, and stock is rotated correctly, as well as set up and take down product displays as directed by management.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and overall store appearance.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and store policies.
- Perform clerical and banking duties as required, including acting as a cashier when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong planning, judgement, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to think independently and effectively organize store operations.
- Competent problem-solving skills essential for ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Computer literacy with efficient time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with relevant products and supplies in retail.

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.75 to $18.75. Actual pay may vary depending on a candidate's experience, knowledge, and regional location.
