Full Stack Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to contribute to the development and scaling of AI-driven software products and automation tools for enterprise clients. This role involves working on a versatile development platform supporting multiple projects, emphasizing rapid innovation, automation, and scalable system architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the NestJS backend and its custom modules including authentication, billing, CRM, task management, and document workflows.
• Create and apply Prisma migrations for Aurora Serverless v2 databases.
• Develop robust API endpoints ensuring strong data validation, authentication controls, rate limiting, and input sanitization.
• Manage notification delivery systems spanning email, SMS, and voice channels.
• Expand billing ledger functionalities such as usage limits, feature-specific cost tracking, period handling, and reconciliation processes.
• Maintain AWS infrastructure using CDK for components like VPC, Aurora, Redis, S3 with KMS encryption, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and SSM session logging.
• Identify and mitigate security weaknesses including authorization bypass vulnerabilities, excessive permissions, unchecked inputs, and unsafe default configurations.
• Support frontend and dashboard development working with iOS environments, Next.js App Router, and Tailwind CSS to ensure quality and bug resolution.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum four years of experience with TypeScript, specifically NestJS or similar decorator-based frameworks.
• Proficiency with Prisma, RESTful API design, data transfer object (DTO) validation, and use of guards and interceptors.
• Python experience with asynchronous service workers and ability to extend complex data or inference loops.
• Strong familiarity with AWS services including IAM, Aurora PostgreSQL, SSM Session Manager, Secrets Manager, KMS, and S3.
• Advanced PostgreSQL skills including schema migrations, implementing row-level security, and query optimization with EXPLAIN ANALYZE.
• Operational expertise in system tasks like SSH, rsync, service management via launchd or systemd, and debugging remote production servers without GUI.
• Self-driven approach with the capability to handle tasks independently from inception to deployment.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with AWS CDK using TypeScript constructs.
• Knowledge of Redis pub/sub mechanisms or BullMQ.
• Familiarity with Pgvector or embedding/vector similarity technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Apple Silicon, MLX frameworks, or ONNX Runtime.
• Front-end expertise in Next.js App Router and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience deploying software to physical on-premises hardware environments in addition to cloud platforms.
• Background working on compliance-related systems such as FedRAMP, SOC 2, HIPAA, or CJIS.
