GCP Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview

This position calls for expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with practical experience preferred alongside relevant certifications. The role centers on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), demanding proficiency in various tools and practices essential for maintaining robust cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Manage instrumentation and monitoring using Dynatrace, including dashboard creation and implementing SLO-based alerting mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, emphasizing modularity and maintainability.
• Operate continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines employing Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub platforms.
• Administer production Kubernetes clusters ensuring stability and performance.
• Drive DevOps initiatives focused on automation and reducing repetitive manual tasks (toil).
• Write and maintain scripts in Python, Groovy, Bash, and PowerShell to facilitate automation and system tasks.
• Apply expertise in cloud security, networking, and API management to safeguard systems.
• Respond effectively to incident management scenarios and troubleshoot complex issues promptly.
