Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Gynecologist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will manage a wide range of gynecological and obstetric care responsibilities, including diagnosis, treatment, patient counseling, and minor surgeries, while ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage disorders related to the female reproductive system and general gynecological health.
- Deliver comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care alongside routine obstetrics services.
- Carry out gynecological examinations and perform minor surgical interventions as required.
- Facilitate normal childbirth and provide support during obstetric emergencies.
- Analyze and interpret results from laboratory tests, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tools.
- Create personalized treatment strategies and prescribe suitable medications.
- Educate and counsel patients on topics including family planning, contraception, infertility concerns, menopause, and preventive health measures.
- Keep detailed and accurate medical records, complying with established clinical protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS) complemented by an MD/MS/DNB specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- At least three years of experience post-specialization in the gynecology field.
- Successful completion of the Qatar Prometric Examination.
- Eligibility for Qatar DataFlow verification and medical licensure.
- Strong clinical expertise and surgical proficiency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage patient care effectively.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is considered a beneficial addition.
