Role overview

Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe setting within a long-term care facility. This role supports a positive experience for residents and staff by keeping the environment well cared for and welcoming.

Pay

Starting pay is USD 14.00 per hour.

What you'll do

• Carry out everyday cleaning duties across resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
• Use approved cleaning and sanitation methods while following safety procedures and facility standards.
• Keep records of completed cleaning work and alert the supervisor to any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Apply infection-control practices and universal precautions to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Interact professionally and helpfully with residents, coworkers, and visitors.
• Handle any additional tasks assigned as part of the role.

What we're looking for

• A high school diploma or an equivalent credential.
• Housekeeping background is helpful, though it is not mandatory.
• A courteous, positive approach with the ability to communicate well with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• Capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Comfort with repetitive work and routine daily tasks.
• Willingness to work around cleaning chemicals and products.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions consistently.
• Residency within the service area is required.
