Role Overview

As an Internal Recruiter at EMJ, you will be key in identifying, attracting, and securing outstanding talent to contribute towards a high-performance culture. Your proactive approach in sourcing candidates and partnering with hiring managers will help us build a stellar workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the complete recruitment lifecycle, from obtaining job requirements to managing job offers.
  • Engage in proactive sourcing strategies beyond job ads, including outreach and networking to uncover top-performing candidates.
  • Conduct thorough video interviews assessing candidates' skills, behaviors, and alignment with company values.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to refine candidate profiles, share market insights, and assist in making informed hiring decisions.
  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience by maintaining transparent communication and timely updates throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Consistently review and improve recruitment processes by embracing feedback and identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  • Support recruitment initiatives such as employer branding, career events, and talent campaigns to enhance our recruiting pipeline.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment, especially strong ability in candidate evaluation and delivering excellent candidate experiences; familiarity with publishing industry recruitment is a plus.
  • A growth-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for continuous personal and process improvement.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused, adept at managing multiple tasks and following through reliably.
  • Effective communicator with polished written and verbal skills, able to engage well at all organizational levels.

Additional Details

  • Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Reporting To: Head of Recruitment and Retention.
  • Salary: £35,000 per annum.
  • Location: Hybrid model; based at London Moorgate office with five days in-office during a three-month probation period, followed by a minimum of three days weekly onsite.
