Role overview
An expanding and profitable business is looking for an experienced IT Field Engineer to support several locations across the North of England. The organisation is a major market leader with annual turnover of more than one billion pounds, and this position sits within a growing IT team focused on keeping systems reliable, secure, and available.
The role is based in Gainsborough, with regular travel expected to sites including Spalding, Louth, and Burnley. After the initial training period, there is also scope for hybrid working.
What you'll be doing
You will help maintain the continuity of IT services across the business, with responsibility for endpoint devices, computer systems, and general support across hardware and software. The role covers a wide range of IT support activity and places strong emphasis on security.

Experience and technical background
The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of relevant IT support experience, along with experience working on IT projects. A background in field-based IT support would be advantageous.
You should be comfortable with endpoint security, networking protocols, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, and current cyber security best practice. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
