About the Role
Maintaining a modern, secure, and efficient IT environment is essential for successful operations. As an IT System Administrator, you will serve as the primary technical contact for colleagues, ensuring our internal IT infrastructure runs reliably, securely, and remains user-friendly. You'll engage in practical, solution-focused work, aiming to keep systems stable and continuously enhance them.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT desktop support by handling user inquiries concerning hardware (Windows and Mac devices) and standard software applications.
- Diagnose, resolve, and document everyday technical issues.
- Manage, install, and maintain software programs and assist with licensing and standardization efforts.
- Oversee, monitor, and develop the office WLAN infrastructure, assisting with network troubleshooting.
- Administer user accounts and permissions using Microsoft Azure/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Confluence, Jira, and LDAP, while supporting role and permission concept development.
- Manage and supervise cloud backups for Microsoft 365.
- Administer Microsoft Defender; assess and track security and login risks within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Contribute to evolving IT security standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Completion of IT-related training (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in IT support and system administration roles.
- Proficiency in administering macOS and Apple hardware.
- Basic knowledge of network and WLAN management.
- Experience handling user account and rights management tools like LDAP and cloud services.
- Practical skills with Microsoft Intune, focusing on app packaging, rollout, policy creation, and management.
- Good command of English.
- Approach work with service orientation and solution focus.
- Demonstrate a structured, dependable, and meticulous working style.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork.
- Independence, responsibility, and willingness to learn.
