Job Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties on all floor types, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Handle chemical cleaners and power equipment in accordance with safety protocols to protect floors and facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrances.
• Dispose of trash responsibly, utilizing compactors where applicable.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using proper cleaning agents and tools.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with extraction and shampooing processes.
• Restock paper goods and sanitary items as needed.
• Adhere to daily housekeeping schedules and complete tasks efficiently.
• Occasionally operate heavy-duty cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Perform additional janitorial duties assigned based on work scope and client requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months experience in janitorial work.
• Capable of following detailed instructions and maintaining focus on accuracy.
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
• Knowledge of custodial best practices and commercial cleaning standards.
• Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and waxing.
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous.
