Role Overview
This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in construction technology, field operations, data governance, and process improvement. The position supports the rollout, administration, and ongoing refinement of digital tools used across construction work.
The role involves working with field crews, project managers, vendors, and reporting teams to make sure technology platforms are used correctly, records are kept accurately, and business processes are followed consistently. It is a highly visible position centered on helping users where they work, encouraging adoption of digital tools, and contributing to successful technology implementation across the organization.
Construction Technology Support
- Administer and assist with construction technology platforms including SafetyCulture, EPT, DPM, and mobile field productivity and progress-tracking applications.
- Help field personnel with setup, troubleshooting, and general questions about tools.
- Work closely with crews, project teams, and other stakeholders to improve usage and adoption of technology.
Data Quality and Compliance
- Review information entered into construction systems and monitor it for quality.
- Confirm that required inspections, reports, surveys, and field records are completed.
- Follow up with project teams and vendors when submissions are missing or incomplete.
- Support accuracy and consistency of data across different platforms.
SafetyCulture Administration
- Create, configure, and maintain inspection and reporting templates.
- Track daily field reports and inspection submissions.
- Monitor compliance and usage metrics.
- Work with field teams to strengthen reporting workflows and increase adoption.
DPM and Change Management Support
- Assist with change control and data management processes in DPM.
- Help coordinate collection, validation, and upkeep of project data.
- Support process documentation and workflow enhancements.
- Ensure information moves correctly between operational systems and reporting teams.
Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate with software vendors about support needs and system enhancements.
- Coordinate issue resolution and follow-up actions.
- Act as a connector between business users, field operations, vendors, and reporting teams.
Reporting and Analytics Support
- Assist with data integration between operational tools and reporting platforms.
- Support reporting teams with validation and quality assurance activities.
- Look for opportunities to improve processes through reporting and analytics.
- Contribute to dashboard and reporting initiatives.
Required Background
- High school diploma is required; an associate degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in construction, field operations, construction technology, project coordination, or a similar area.
- Some exposure to the construction industry through internships, field work, labor, or project support.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Comfortable learning and supporting software applications.
- Detail-focused with good organizational skills.
- Positive, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Preferred Background
- Internship or work experience in construction, engineering, utilities, civil construction, or project controls.
- Exposure to construction management software, field reporting systems, or mobile apps used by crews.
- Experience helping technology users in a field setting.
- Familiarity with data validation, reporting, or process documentation.
- Basic Power BI knowledge or interest in learning data visualization and reporting tools.
- Understanding of construction workflows and inspections.
