Role Overview
We seek a passionate Lead Teacher specializing in infant care and early childhood education to create a loving and stimulating space for our youngest learners. This role involves collaboration with peers to develop an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum, regular communication with parents to share meaningful updates, and providing safe, curiosity-inspiring play experiences that support motor and language development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a nurturing and joyful environment celebrating infant milestones and development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement a curriculum tailored to infants’ developmental stages.
- Communicate daily progress and memorable moments to parents to strengthen family engagement.
- Facilitate play and activities that encourage curiosity, safety, language growth, and motor skills.
- Design daily schedules balancing quiet time, active play, and skill-building activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Meets all required state qualifications for preschool lead teachers.
- Experience working as an infant teacher.
- Available to work during regular business hours with flexibility.
- Possession of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a college degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
- Prior experience as a preschool lead teacher is mandatory.
- Preferred classroom management skills to effectively lead the educational team.
