Role Description
- Lead the logistics team, overseeing truck operations from loading to delivery and unloading.
- Ensure strict adherence to truck sealing protocols, maintaining complete compliance to avoid tampering.
- Perform regular safety and operational inspections of trucks and fuel tankers.
- Manage transportation timelines and scheduling to reduce delays.
- Plan and organize daily fuel transit activities according to operational needs.
- Verify fleet vehicle availability and readiness, including preparation at delivery sites.
- Prioritize in-house fleet usage; outsource to third-party carriers only when necessary due to vehicle maintenance or remote destinations.
- Continuously monitor vehicle locations and document all stages of transport.
- Execute transport orders with detailed load, origin, destination, and driver information.
- Use GPS and the Wathiq platform to track trips, ensuring compliance with established routes and protocols.
- Implement emergency re-routing within authorized limits to avoid disruptions.
- Inspect tractors and tankers periodically for adherence to fuel loss prevention standards.
- Analyze daily transportation reports to identify and resolve delays, deficiencies, and recurring problems.
- Prepare logistics performance and carrier evaluation reports for management review.
- Guarantee timely delivery of fuel and materials to stations and departments.
- Oversee import logistics management.
- Assess new station location viability, propose recommendations, and enhance security for fuel transport through strategic field visits.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and transport regulatory standards issued by relevant authorities including Saudi Aramco and Civil Defense.
- Supervise preventive maintenance and technical inspections of fleet vehicles.
- Develop and manage relationships with transport service providers and logistics vendors.
- Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Hold professional certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, CILT, or PMP.
